A complete renovation of a penthouse by respecting and retaining the original authentic features of the property. This penthouse is located in the heart of the old city center of Málaga. The kitchen floor tiles are distinct from the other spaces and they provide a visual division between the hallway and the kitchen. One of the bathrooms is now smaller, but more efficiently laid out so that the window overlooking the cathedral is now visible from the living room and brings in more natural light.

The duplex proved to be particularly challenging having to take into account the sloping beams of light and at the same time being cautious of providing enough height for the entrance and shower. The wall of the bathroom entrance has now been converted into a wall closet.
