About Odette
From the very first meeting, we had a good feeling about Odette. She has proved to be very good at design and execution, highly motivated, enthusiastic, honest, and always worked hard to keep within the budget and cut our costs where possible. She also happens to be a very nice person.
Below you can find our experiences at each stage of the project:
Design
Odette listened to what we wanted, and came up with a clear 3D design which we could review and amend to define the final layout of the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Odette was very good at clarifying trade-offs in design and budget, and has a lot of local knowledge and contacts. She also spent time checking exactly what was feasible (for example, that we could extend kitchen space up to the ceiling).
Execution
Once we had agreed a design, Odette did a great job actually doing the changes to the living area, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. She has her own team and managed all aspects of the build, getting permits, etc. We were also really happy that Odette helped us 100% sound-proof the bedroom. This was really essential to ensure the apartment was ‘liveable’ given the apartment is right in the middle of the city. At all times Odette kept us up to date on budget and any cost changes – so there were no surprises. She was very good at planning and communication at all stages of the project.
Furnishing
Odette also helped us choose and buy furnishings as we were not always in Malaga to do this ourselves. She has a lot of good ideas on design and where to source furniture and fittings.
Result
We are really happy with the result. There is no comparison between before and after! We now have a beautiful, modern apartment that is a pleasure to live in, and will not require any further work.
Final thoughts
Odette is very good value for money and removes all the headaches associated with renovation as an expat! She has a high degree of integrity, and she will not let you down! We highly recommend Odette.

Facelift small apartment in Málaga
From the very first meeting, we had a good feeling about Odette.
Extra storage space and facelift
This small apartment in the historical center of Málaga needed a facelift and some extra storage-space without changing the layout of the several rooms. By allowing effective use of the height I created extra storage for the kitchen. It’s a sleek kitchen with modern applicances and space well utilised. The bathroom has a shower space from wall to wall so it seems larger. The oak floor fits perfectly with the traditional shutters of the high windows.
